    That first post – the one ‘against participation’ is a classic example of someone who works in/to ‘government’ discovering one of the founding principles of democracy and thinking he’s uncovered some great counter-intuitive truth.

    He’s like the bloke who looked at a stopped clock twice a day for a week before realising it wasn’t working.

    I’m not sure what depresses me more: That people at some level of government didn’t know it, or that they’re clearly paying people to tell them this stuff.
