I think it's also important to think differently about using digital media as a resource within organisations than using digital media to reach an outside audience. Being one of those professional 'communicators,' I'm always struck by how seriously organisations take themselves in their social communications to the public. If you use the idea of inspiration in most of your communications, you will begin to get into a space where audiences will want to engage. Inspire people to 'like,' to comment, to get involved, to take action, etc. Most importantly, inspire your fans and followers to become advocates for your work and ideas. People love to herald the best, next thing - let that work in your favour and your half way home. This is spot on information.
