I genuinely hope it's bought by someone; both myself and my wife use it heavily both for personal and professional bookmarking. I have transferred all my bookmarks over to Diigo, however, and recommend others to do the same. After trying a number of alternatives, it's the one that's closest to Delicious in functionality. At present I don't have too much concern for the future of Flickr; it's a revenue source for Yahoo (I know I'm certainly upgrading to a Pro account next payday) which, unfortunately, Delicious is not. I certainly think there's a ways to go yet before we can completely rely on the cloud; while I've embraced cloud working almost in it's whole (I do a lot of collaborative writing projects using Google Docs and Adobe Story) I still prefer to work offline primarily and maintain local copies of my data before it touches the cloud. How likely would that be?
