Am in agreement, there is too much stuff being coughed up by PR or marketing/ media gurus out there and not enough from educationalists and others about 'communications'. Although there is one area where there is a large overlap with with what the so called social media gurus advise on. Politicians and public servants who are in the frontline of media communications do need to consider their personal brand more than most and they require , I think, some learning about their digital brand management. They should start by thinking about how to integrate their traditional media strategy. Love the word miasma.
