Great that you are starting. But what should we look for ... is e-democracy as such worth the effort. Should we still be putting e- in front of areas of social and civic concern, and hoping tech will solve them. Obviously tech can help ... but this seems like a good time to review what problem we are trying solve and then what approaches and tools are appropriate. It is a good opportunity for some re-framing. So ... let's draw up the list of social needs/problems, and then carry on scavenging!
