All very valid things to have in the appropriate environment (public transport, financial services etc.), but the reason I like social networking and building collaborative communities is because they are fairly light on process. Don't get me wrong - I'm not advocating absence of process, but I don't want to see it getting in the way of innovation. To use one f my favourite quotes (courtesy of Euen Semple) - "Innovation becomes possible whenever and wherever the right combination of need and solution arises without being killed stone dead by process" I'm trying to live by that philosophy!
