    It’s a handy crutch, but the long-term solution is to switch to tools that the community can fix itself, like the laconi.ca software that powers http://identi.ca/mjray

    The problem is that so many people are already on Twitter rather than other systems – and it is difficult to drag them away onto something else.

    Still, at least by highlighting this, I’m working to rid myself of that damn blemish…. ;-)
